We would have loved to offer a comparison between LVSync and its competitors but it is just impossible because LVSync is the only native synchronization Android™ application for Zimbra™ !

All other applications relies on Microsoft™ ActiveSync™ protocol provided by Zimbra™ in its commercial offer and unavailable in the Open Source edition.

While fulfilling the most needs, ActiveSync™ does not enable every features of the server that only Zimbra™ applications using the native API can use (like Zimbra Desktop™ for example).

With LVSync, it is unnecessary to go through an intermediary protocol, to set the item at a time or use third-party tools: simply set your Zimbra account, select the items you want to synchronize and track them down naturally in your Android's contacts and calendars.
